The Texas BE (breath elders) Group
The Texas Breath Elders are facilitators with over twenty years experience in conscious breathing facilitation, stemming from Leonard Orr's Rebirthing Breathing in the 1970's and the Texas Rebirther's Association, begun by Rima Star, as the original Rebirthing training association in Texas. Texas BE offers affordable monthly opportunities for group guided breathing. Currently, the North Austin group meets on the second Sunday and the South Austin group meets on the fourth Saturday. Through a series of serendipitous events, Texas breath elders decided to dust off their boots, shake the cob webs loose in their rib baskets, and once again assist all who want to experience the fullness and preciousness of the breath of life! Besides, many of the elders had heard "the times are a'changing very rapidly in the coming months" and felt compelled to do their part to make the wonderful gift of breath available to others.
A Texas BE group experience is a wonderful way to get introduced to the process of conscious breathing or to expand your current practice with completing cycles of energy. The Breath Elders have over 100,000 hours of collective facilitation and teaching experience. If you feel drawn to this process of breathing, individual sessions assist your ability to integrate breathing practices into your self-care or spiritual process.
Rima Star, one of the original certified rebirthers, has taken her work with Rebirthing, combined it with her training in bodywork, pregnancy, birth, experience facilitating ocean sessions near free dolphins and created an integrated system called--Ebb & Flow Integration Therapy.™
